FirstClass Messages - Replying
1. Reply Sender
To reply to the sender of an e-mail you receive to your mailbox (NOT Conference messages):

1. Open the e-mail or highlight in your mailbox and click the Reply button.

2. Your message will show in your and your recipient's mailbox with a Re: in the subject line.

2. Reply to Conference Messages
To reply to the entire conference:

1. With the conference message open, click the Reply button. This button will REPLY TO THE ENTIRE CONFERENCE, so please be careful when using this.

2. You will see the CONFERENCE name as the recipient. Again, be sure you want to reply to the entire conference.

3. Compose and send your message.

To reply to ONLY THE SENDER of a message in a conference:

1. With the conference message open, click the dropdown arrow next to the Reply button and choose REPLY SENDER.

2. You will see ONLY the sender's name appear in the To: field.

3. Compose and send your message.

NOTE: If you accidentally reply to the entire conference, just UNSEND the message.
3. Reply to All Recipients
To reply to everyone who received a particular message and the sender:

1. Open the message.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Reply button and choose Reply All.

3. All the recipients and the original sender will appear in the To: and Cc: fields.
4. Compose and send your message.
4. Reply with Quotes
Sometimes, you may want to quote the original message in your reply.

To reply with the original message quoted:

1. Open the message.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Reply button and choose Reply with Quote.

3. A new message window will appear with the original author's name in bold and the original message text highlighted in gray:

It is proper etiquette to reply to the message ABOVE/BEFORE the quoted original e-mail.
